Since 2013, thirteen cultural centres are part of a new cultural infrastructure which spreads across Košice, from the very city centre to the city peripheries. The organisation K13 actively fills these spaces with various cultural activities – from exhibitions, festivals, conferences, theater, music and film performances to various physical, educational and communal activities.

K13 offers fundamental infrastructure for the Košice cultural scene.

K13 consists of Kasárne/Kulturpark, Kunsthalle, Amphitheatre, Steelpark, and eight SPOTs which move culture from the city center to the outskirts.

The complex Kasárne/Kulturpark consists of eleven buildings which host art exhibitions and serve as event venues, meeting rooms, and a library. Kunsthalle, an architectural gem of the 20th century, is a renovated swimming pool, which offers its premises to modern art and, mainly, media artworks. Amphitheatre is an outdoor theatre and cinema. Steelpark is a center dedicated to science and entertainment for kids and adults. SPOTs are located across the entire city and their goal is to move culture from the city center to the outskirts.
