Street Art Bingo - The city is your playing field!

With the Urban „Game Street Art Bingo“ you can discover urban spaces of the Ruhr area in a completely new way, and experience them from different perspectives. The game is aimed at people interested in art and culture who also want to sharpen their eye for street art details. Teams solve interactive tasks, collect points, provide information, and visit exciting places.

The aim of the game is to discover small and large treasures that might otherwise be rather unimpressive. In addition, the game imparts basic knowledge about the forms and history of graffiti and street art. Game duration approx. 3 hours. The offer includes Dortmund and Duisburg, two different urban areas.

In Dortmund the playground is the Unionviertel, a growing district in the western city centre. This is an area of constant change with around 10,000 inhabitants, densely built, including  Tremionia Park and Westpark, two trendy outdoor spaces. Walking through the neighbourhood you will pass numerous galleries, studios and also some record shops, which are gradually settling in the area around the Dortmunder U and Rheinische Straße. Artists and students have discovered the district  with its many pizzerias, snack bars and drinking halls, and it is now a great place to live. The Sri Lankan community is also represented with restaurants and shops.

In Duisburg it is the Meiderich district that invites you to  enjoy a creative conquest. Here, not far from the Rhine, urban space and industrial culture meet (in the neighbourhood you will find the magnificent Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord). You will pass artfully sprayed walls, beautiful facades, dirty-rough tags, sculptures and graffiti bombings.

The tours are offered by "Die Urbanisten". This is a collective of urban planners, educators, artists, environmental educators, gardeners, engineers, sociologists, designers, photographers, journalists and computer scientists. As a creative team, they are committed to a lively and liveable future and are involved in a variety of projects.
